Gloombles
A system for turning ownership into authorship: rarity you earn, art that lives on-chain, forever.

Overview
Gloombles is a collection of fully on-chain pixel characters. Each one mints as a complete little being, with a background, a body, a face, and a handful of accessory traits, and from there the holder shapes it. The art, the traits, and the live rarity all live inside the contract; the website only reads and displays what the chain already holds. The renderer is itself a contract, so the pixel art is generated on demand from chain state and can never be rehosted, rot, or be taken down.
Thesis
Most profile-picture collections fix their image at the moment of mint. Gloombles inverts that premise: the character is not a static picture but a living on-chain object whose look, traits, and rarity are grown by its holder over time. Here rarity is not distributed, it is earned, and permanence is not promised, it is structural.
Concept: earned, not minted
Scarcity is a status you hold, not a lottery you won. Two on-chain mechanics push a character toward the top: re-roll evolves a gloomble's look and slowly adds traits toward a fully-loaded, eleven-trait Mythic; and merge, the forge, sacrifices five gloombles to instantly complete a sixth, permanently shrinking supply with every use. Along the way a roll may surface one of 31 one-of-a-kind special traits (19 Epic, 12 Legendary); claiming one freezes the character at that tier forever. Sitting outside the ladder are 8 hand-made 1/1 Originals.
Provably fair, by design
Every outcome, whether the reveal, a re-roll, or a merge, is decided by the hash of a future Ethereum block that did not exist when the holder committed. There is no oracle, nothing to peek at, and nothing to game. No rare can be sniped and no outcome can be rigged; anyone can re-check the math against the chain afterward.
Studio: the creative layer
Gloomble Studio turns each eligible gloomble into a canvas of its own: holders fill on-chain canvases with a photo, a written note, or hand-drawn pixel art, written to Ethereum as raw bytes, non-custodial and permanent. It reframes the token from a picture you hold into a place you can keep your own art forever.
